Insomnia as a Cause Of Diabetes

Lack of sleep leads to a rise in cortisol and insulin resistance, which leads to the development of type 2 diabetes. We know that just missing one night's sleep can increase insulin resistance and if we miss a week of sleep most of us develop type 2 diabetes.
