Exercise is very powerful medicine that can treat hypertension, depression, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, osteoporosis, congestive heart failure, and many other conditions that are reviewed. Looking at medicine as an overview, it seems like things happen in cycles and fads. We have one fad one year, another fad another year, and it seems to change how we practice medicine. Yet the fads, they die and we have a new integrated approach we take towards the practice of medicine.

Having faith increases quality of life and longevity by 2-3 years in some studies. Studies on intercessory prayer also suggest benefit, but others show the opposite. Whatever the case may be, it also makes sense that we take as much responsibility for our own health as we can. Imagery has a profound effect on our biochemistry and physiology.

Forgiveness is central for self healing. This is something one does for one's self. Punishment consciousness is a cultural trait that doesn't provide closure. Letting go by not connecting with the negative thought is healing. We victimize ourselves when we hold onto punishment. Punishment will take care of itself.
