A Mayo Clinic article published in the journal, GUT, in January of 2015 looked at whether or not biopsies of cancers caused spreading of pancreatic cancers. What they found was very surprising. Not only did the cancers not spread the but the survival rate if there was a biopsy was much longer! Wow!

Antidepressants, especially those in the SSRI category such as Zoloft, Prozac, Paxil, may not work in people also taking painkillers such as ibuprofen and aspirin. A recent article shows that people with prostate biopsies have a slightly increased death rate. The reasons are not known. We know that cells are spread every time a biopsy is taken, however, those cells do not survive.
